Tour info:

Day 1: Zagreb (D)

Welcome from our representative, transfer to the hotel. Short sightseeing and introduction to the city. A welcome dinner in a traditional Zagreb tavern with local specialties.

Day 2: Zagreb – Kumrovec – castle Veliki Tabor – Krapina – Zagreb (B, L)

Tour of Kumrovec Ethno Village, museum and the birthplace of one of the greatest statesmen ofEurope and world, the legendary Tito, president of Yugoslavia.Following that, we visit Veliki Tabor Castle and have lunch (local specialties). After lunch we drive to Krapina and visit very interesting, new Krapina Neanderthal Museumrich in the latest exhibitions and technological achievements.  After the tour and a short break, drive back to Zagreb.

Day 3: Zagreb – Rastoke – Plitvice Lakes – Zadar (B, D)

Drive to Croatia’s mountain region and the National Park - Plitvice Lakes. Break in a picturesque village of Rastoke, known for its old water mills. After Rastoke, tour of Plitvice Lakes National Park: 16 beautiful lakes and numerous waterfalls protected by UNESCO. Drive to the city of Zadar and the Adriatic coast. Upon arrival to Zadar, accommodation in a hotel and walk around the city with the history dating back to the 6th century BC.

Day 4: Zadar – Sibenik - Trogir – Split (B, D)

Sightseeing of Zadar – Church of St. Donatus (from the 9th century – Zadar’s trademark), Church of St. Anastasia, Church of St. Chrysogonus, unique sea organ, Greeting to the Sun, Roman Forum...Drive to the city of Šibenik and sightseeing of the Cathedral of St. James (protected by UNESCO): the only cathedral in the entire Europe built completely of stone, without the use of mortar and wooden structural elements. We continue with the tour of the town of Trogir, also included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. Overnight stay in the city of Split.

Day 5: Split (B, D)

After breakfast we visit the Diocletian’s Palace in the heart of Split, a residential palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian built 1,700 years ago, also the UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the tour, free time for individual sightseeing of this livery city and coffee or cocktail drinking on the waterfront overlooking the sea.

Day 6: Split – Hvar (B, D)

Ferry ride to the sunniest island of Croatia – Hvar. Upon arriving to Hvar, we will get to know the Old Town, one of the oldest towns in the country dating back to ancient Greeks, but also with the Stari Grad Plain, the latest site on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list in Croatia, which is said to be a unique example of geometric land division system that was used in the ancient times. We stop in a famous winery to taste the award-winning wines of Hvar. Overnight stay in Hvar.

Day 7: Hvar (B, D)

A day to enjoy. Get to know the renaissance town of Hvar or simply relax with the sounds of crystal blue sea, lavender scents and glass of top quality wines of Hvar.

Day 8: Hvar– Ston – Trsteno - Dubrovnik (B, D)

Picturesque drive around the island to the place called Sućuraj and a ferry ride to the mainland. Break in a small town of Ston, where we will see the Walls of Ston, the second largest defence walls in the world, and enjoy the most delicious oysters in the world from a bay near Mali Ston. We will also visit the arboretum Trsteno, famous for its historic gardens, collection of Mediterranean and exotic plants and one of exceptional locations for the shooting of the famous TV series “Game of Thrones”. Overnight stay in Dubrovnik.

Day 9: Dubrovnik (B, L, D)

Today is reserved for exploration and enjoying in the city called the “Pearl of the Adriatic”, the old town of which is the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dubrovnik is a city of magnificent palaces and impressive walls. Starting with the Onofrio’s Fountain to the city Bell Tower, each step along Stradun is a unique experience par excellence. After sightseeing, lunch and free time for individual exploration of the city.                                                    

Day 10: Dubrovnik (B)

After beautiful 10 days of discovering the UNESCO Croatia, transfer to Dubrovnik Airport.
 

Included:

- transport in an air-conditioned tourist vehicle (bus or van)

- experienced guide during the entire journey, sightseeing according to the program

- 9 nights in hotel accommodation with breakfast (B) and dinner (D) as per the itinerary (hotels 3* or 4* depending on what the group wants)

- lunch (L) in traditional restaurants or taverns as per the program.

- services and activities that are not listed in the itinerary (personal expenses, tips...).
