Tour info: 

Day 1: Vienna

Welcome to Vienna, the capital of the Republic of Austria and our first capital of our journey. Welcome in the airport and transfer to the hotel with the panoramic drive by bus: Ring, Opera, Parliament, Ratthaus (City Hall), house of the famous architect Hundertwasser...Overnight stay.

Day 2: Vienna (B)

After breakfast, walk around the city centre: Kärtnerstrasse, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Graben, Hofburg... Break for lunch. In the afternoon we go to Schönbrunn Palace. Free time. Overnight stay.

Day 3: Vienna – Bratislava (B, D)

In the centre of Vienna we go down to the Danube and leave the city by a romantic boat ride to Bratislava. Our luggage reaches the hotel by bus. Upon arriving to Bratislava, we disembark in the centre and go on the city tour: historical Castle located 100 m above the Danube, and visit to other attractions: St. Michael’s Gate, St. Martin’s Cathedral, the most prominent Gothic building from the 14th century, Central Square with Roland’s fountain, Old Town Hall, National Theatre... Free time.  In the evening, joint departure for dinner in a typical Slovak pub.

Day 4: Bratislava – Budapest (B, D)

Upon arrival to Budapest, we go to Budim, visit the Fisherman’s Bastion and King Matthias Church. We proceed to the city (Pešta): Parliament, Heroes’ Square, St. Stephen’s Basilica... Free time to visit the famous Gerbaud confectionary or walk around the shopping Váci Street. We proceed for a boat ride along the Danube and you can enjoy in the river impression of the Hungarian capital with a glass of champagne. In the evening, joint departure for a dinner in a csárda.

Day 5: Budapest – Novi Sad – Belgrade (B)

We leave Budapest and drive towards Serbia. On our way we stop in Novi Sad - the second largest city in Serbia known for its nickname “Serbian Athens”. Sightseeing of the city and Petrovaradin Fortress with a beautiful view of the city. Our journey proceeds with a drive to Serbia’s capital– Belgrade. Overnightstay.

Day 6: Belgrade (B, L)

Tour of the city and Kalemegdan Fortress with the panorama of the city and confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers. After a traditional Serbian lunch, we visit the Nikola Tesla Museum and the Memorial Centre of Josip Broz Tito, a former Yugoslav president.

Day 7: Belgrade – Ilok – Zagreb (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we leave for Croatia and our first stop is Slavonian region with Ilok cellars - the biggest and most famous wine cellars in Croatia. Tour of the vineyard with a tourist train, visit to Ilok Museum and wine cellars. After lunch, we drive to Zagreb. Accommodation in the hotel and short walk around the city centre with a traditional dinner in a tavern.

Day 8: Zagreb – Ljubljana (B)

Tour of Zagreb – Upper and Lower Town and main attractions. Free time. Continuation of our journey to charming Ljubljana – Slovenia’s capital. Walking tour of the city: attractions along Ljubljanca River, bridges, preserved Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings. Short break and departure for the Castle Hill with a beautiful view of the city. Overnight stay.

Day 9: Ljubljana – Bled – Bohinj – Vienna (B, L)

We proceed to Bled, a magical alpine tourist resort with a stunning mountain lake and a small island in the middle and Bled Castle, a fortress located on a steep cliff, 130 meters above the Lake Bled. After a traditional Bled lunch and famous cream pastry kremšnita, short visit of the second crystal clear Lake Bohinj near Bled. We continue our journey to Vienna.

Day 10: Vienna (B)

This is the last day of our adventure around the Central European capitals. Farewell with the transfer to the airport.
 

Included:

- transport in an air-conditioned tourist vehicle (bus or van)

- experienced guide during the entire journey, sightseeing according to the program

- 9 nights in hotel accommodation with breakfast (B) and dinner (D) as per the itinerary (hotels 3* or 4* depending on what the group wants)

- dinner (D) and lunch (L) in traditional restaurants, taverns or pubs as per the program.
